Thomas was the 3rd of the seven children of William and Marion Anderson. He was baptised on 29th September 1889 at St Luke's Church. He attended Raglan Road School.
He enlisted in Princess Victoria's Royal Irish Fusiliers at New Cross, and was killed on 21st March 1915 in fighting around St Eloi, Ypres. His body was not recovered.
His brother Alfred James and cousins William John & George Anderson also died.
