Extra details

Frank was the third of John and Emma Glenn's seven children. He was baptised at All Souls, Harlesdon on 19th July 1891. His first job was at the local library in Harlesdon. By 1911 he was lodging in Napier Road and working as an assistant at Bromley Public Library. He left Bromley to take a position at Walthamstow Library in 1913 and was there when war broke out.

Frank joined the Essex Regiment and was sent to the Dardanelles where he contracted dysentery. He died aboard HMHS Welta on his way home. Frank was engaged to Miss Witham of 48a Recreation Road.
