Edward was the eldest of Edward and Lily Eves's three children. He was baptised o 1st August 1897. Edward attended the National School before being employed in the clerical department at the Bromley Electric Light Works. Edward snr died in 1914, Lily married Charles P Cook in 1920.
Edward enlisted in the Royal West Kents soon after war was declared but was transferred to the City of London Fusiliers. He went to the Front in August 1916 and died from wounds on 9th April 1917.
