Extra details
Cyril was the youngest child of William and Alice Day. He was apprenticed as a carpenter working for Messrs Hart on the Bickley park Estate, but when that work closed down he went to Gresham Laundry in Gravel Road, Bromley Common.
He was 18 in May 1917 and a few days later joined the Forces, he was sent to France at the beginning of April 1918 and was reported missing on 27th May.
