George was the fifth of Thomas and Sarah Hall's eight children. He was baptised on 1st May 1887 at St Peter & St Paul's Church.
He attended Aylesbury Road School before working as a carman at Bromley South. George married Ann Edith Caroline Bryant in 1908, they had four children.
George joined the AVC in January 1915 and went to Egypt where he was kicked, on the knee, by a horse and invalided home. After returning to France he transferred to the Royal Field Artillery. In October 1917 he was taken ill with nephritis and died on the 20th.
George's brother Thomas also died.
