Extra details

Reginald was the youngest of the eleven children of James and Susan Sinden. He attended Raglan Road School, afterwards becoming a gardener before enlisting in the Bedford Regiment on 17th January 1907.

Private F Aveling, also of the 1st Bedfords, reported seeing his friend Reginald shot through the shoulder and buried the next day.

His brother Percy’s brother-in-law Onslow Clifton Hollands also died.
